I've had to disable the guestbook due to a massive increase in random advertising and will put it back up when I have time to implement a more robust interface.

I decided it wsa time to update the site. I've rewritten the 'about me' page and added a new 'about the site' section. I've also removed a bunch of pointless news and guestbook postings, and completely removed the abusebook. I'm in the process of rewriting my CV (for real this time) so I'll stick that up when it's done.

I've put a few more filters into the guestbook code in an effort to stop the advertising spam. Have fun trying to bypass them, evil advertising people!

As of today I'm working as Audio Programmer at Lionhead Studios' central technology department. I'm helping to write the next generation of audio technology for our new games, and I will be working with each of the teams to help them get the most out of our stuff. This means I don't get stuck on a single game for several years, and I don't have to do excessive hours at the end of each project. Score!

Well, Black & White 2 is GOLD; it'll be in stores across the US and Europe on Oct 7th. I've got a lot more free time now so I should be able to update the site more. To start it off, there's a new game on my programs page. I'm rewriting my CV at the moment so that should reapear within the next week. Enjoy!

I decided to go through my neilwakefield.com email today on a whim. I stopped using it shortly after I started at Lionhead (which is about 6 months ago now) due to excessive spam.
